(Bessie) Ruth Shedd Logan, 98, of Pelahatchie (Rehobeth), MS entered into the arms of her family on October 1, 2023. She was born on June 25,1925, to William “Will” Thomas Shedd and Susie Kate Williams Shedd.

Ruth, a most loving wife of Gene Logan, mother to Becky King who preceded her in death, Barbara Floyd and Karen Logan, sons Larry Logan and Phillip Logan, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Ruth was a survivor of the Depression, World War 2, and witnessed the changing world from everything jet airplanes to smart phones. She was the last of 9 brothers and sisters. She was a devoted grandmother who lit up in the presence of the of all of her 56 children and grandchildren.  She had a mischievous sense of humor and mind that was always keeping up with the current world that included Facebook posting at 98 years old.

There will be a visitation beginning at 11:00 AM on Friday October 6, 2023, with interment at 12:00 PM. The visitation and interment will be held at Rehobeth Church 426 Rehobeth Rd, Pelahatchie, MS
