Betty Garvin, 69, of Pearl, MS, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Betty was born in Lancaster County, SC on July 21, 1944. She was a successful licensed realtor in Rankin County for 28 years, where she was a multi-million dollar producer & “Realtor of the Year” for several years.

She was the first child of Steve West and Lula Cauthen. She was a devoted, loving mother to her four children and devoted Nana to her ten grandchildren.

Betty is survived by three sons, Alex Vincent & wife, Joni of Wiggins, Scott Vincent of Pearl, Stacy Vincent & wife, Kristy of New Braunfels, TX; daughter, Angela Vincent of Pearl, and their father, Claude Vincent of Heath Springs, SC; sister, Hope Townsend & her husband, Gary & their daughter, Merissa of Tucson, AZ; brother, Steve West & wife, Carolyn of Ruby, SC; ten grandchildren, Jennifer Bounds, Chris Nobles, Brandon & Brittani Vincent, Erin Vincent, Cambre Vincent, Abby & Dylan Vincent, Austin Hardee and Pressley Buford; six great-grandchildren, Blake, Carliegh, Landon, Trennen, Bransen, and Tristen; godson, William Crutchfield. She is preceded in death by her husband, O. C. Garvin; her father, Steve W. West; her mother, Lula Caughen and husband, Odell Caughen; and her sister, Nelda Vincent.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 5 until 8 pm with Memorial Services to be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 2 pm, both taking place at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Burial will follow at Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland, MS.
