Betty Lou Godby, 90, passed away in Monroe, LA on Fri. Nov. 1, 2024. Visitation will be held on Sun. Nov. 3, 2024 at Brandon Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS from 2pm-2:30pm. Graveside services are 2:30pm on Sun. Nov. 3, 2024 at Brandon Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Godby was born on June 28, 1934 in Buffalo, TX to the late Jim. B. Graham and Dolly Holland Graham. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Buffalo, TX.

Mrs. Godby is survived by her three children, Janette McCoy (William), Connie Lynn Highfill and James Ray Godby; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mrs. Godby is also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Dewitt Godby; two sons, Dennis Maxell Godby and Donald Dewitt Godby Jr.; six sisters, Coella Moore, JoAnn Davis, Mary Virginia Shoenemann, Helen Rommel, Mabel Kate Daker, Della Baker and three brothers, Joe Graham, Bill Graham and James Graham.
