Betty Lou Harmon, age 70, a resident of Florence passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangments were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mrs. Harmon was born in Cleveland, OH on March 18, 1944. She loved to go bowling and loved working in her rose garden. Betty never met a stranger and her caring and joking personality will be greatly missed by all that loved and knew her. She loved her family very much and her grandchildren were the apple of her eye.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Busler and Nellie Beaver Busler; husband, Carlos Woody Harmon; brothers, Danny and Bobby Busler; sisters, Charlsie Jean Sereny and Rita Diane Large.
She is survived by her children, Dee Harmon-Griffith of Florence and Jennifer Sanders of Florence; sister, Marie Ann Sobchick of Wooster, OH; brother, David Busler of Akron, OH; 5 grandchildren, Dylan Canant, Macye Canant, Tallon Canant, Sarah Sanders and Tianna Griffith; daughter-in-law, Angela Canant of Florence; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
