Betty Knott

Betty Jean Covington Knott, age 84, a resident of Florence, Mississippi passed away at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi on Sunday, February 14, 2021. A graveside service will be held 2 pm Wednesday at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, Mississippi. All are welcome to attend we will ask that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Ms. Knott was born April 1, 1936 in Utica, Mississippi to Johnny Dewitt Covington and Leona Mae Sanders Covington. She loved birds, flower gardens and gospel music. She was a lifetime member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She loved her family and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Ms. Knott is survived by her children, Michael Richard Knott, Ricky Ray Knott and Elizabeth Renee Knott; sister, Marvis Elaine Morrison; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
