Betty Reid

Mrs. Betty E. Reid, age 79, a resident of Summit MS, formally of Forest MS passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at home.

Visitation will be 9:00am to 11:00am Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest MS with a Memorial Service following at 11:00am there in the chapel.

Mrs. Reid was survived by four children, Melanie Penoza, Jesse Wiley Reid, his wife, Irene Roberts, Christy Brister, her husband, Joel, and Paul Reid: six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Massey and Shelby Porter.

Mrs. Reid was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse, and Effa Amason, her husband, L.D. Wiley Reid; one brother, James Amason; two sisters, Gloria Perkins and Janelle Creel

Hobbies of Mrs. Reid were reading, watching T.V., collecting whatnots, but the love of family brought her great joy.
