Betty Ruth Harmon, 77, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Merit Health Rankin.  There will be a memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday, January 6, 2024, at First Apostolic Church in Pelahatchie, MS with visitation starting at 11:30am at the church.  Burial will follow in Thornhill Baptist Cemetery. 

Betty was born on May 21, 1946, to Cas Burnham and Vera Miley Burnham.  She was very loving to her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed her flower beds in her yard and loved taking care of them. She often would sit and enjoy the view of them.

She is survived by her children, John Paul Harmon, Brenda Bush and husband Steve, Teresa Anderson and husband Jack, James Harmon, Sherrie Vazquez, and Johnathan Harmon; sister, Jeanette Throneberry and husband Scott; brother, Cordell Burnham and wife Judy; fourteen grandchildren, Cindy, Felicia, Amanda, Keri, Candy, Michael, Cody, Junior, Abagail, John Curtis, James Adam, Pricilla, and Paula; and a host of great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Junior Harmon and second husband, Jose Lopez; her parents; granddaughter, Ashley Goode; and her brothers, Ellis Burnham, Johnny Burnham, and JD Burnham.
