Betty Sue Russell Sutton, 66, passed away from this life to be with her Heavenly Father on Sat. Nov. 2, 2013 at her home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held Mon. Nov. 4, 2013 from 5pm-8pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 10am. Tues. Nov. 5, 2013 at the funeral home with burial following in the Hillsboro Baptist Church Cemetery in Scott County, MS.
Mrs. Sutton was born in Forest, MS and has lived most of her adult life in Brandon, MS. She was a member of the Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl, MS and the Eastern Star in Brandon, MS. Mrs. Sutton retired from Butler-Snow and her hobbies included sewing, quilting, playing cards, water aerobics and loved working in her yard when she was able.
She is survived by her husband, James Sutton; three children, Michael Laseter, Jim Sutton (Dawn) and Marci McCollum (Danny); one sister, Lorene Tolbert (Mike); one brother, Philip Russell (Helen); three grandchildren, Josh McCollum, Brendan McCollum and Madison Sutton. Mrs. Sutton is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, W. D. and Mary Ellene Russell.
