Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jewel Fisher will be conducted at 2 pm on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kent Grice officiating. Interment will follow in the Easter n Cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest.
Visitation will be from 5 pm - 8 pm on Friday, November 11, 2016 and on Saturday from 8:30 am- 1:45 pm at the funeral home.
Betty Jewel Kyzar was born April 30, 1949 in Scott County and was a lifelong resident of this area. She passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at her home in Pulaski at the age of 67.
She will be remembered as a woman who loved her family, and extended family; she was the best, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She never met a stranger and always enjoyed being in conversation with others. She has a witty personality and had a heart to love everybody. Watching TV, listening to the radio, and loving her dogs were favorite past times. Mrs. Betty was a Baptist by faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Edward Lee Fisher; two faithful companions: Tex Rayner and Tommy Hedge; her parents: Marion R. and Della Brooms Kyzar; and four brothers: Houston, Howard, Junior, and Dudley Kyzar.
Survivors include her four children: Connie (Donald) McCann of Lake; Charles Fisher of Pulaski; Stacie Fisher of Clarksville, TN; and Steven (Judy) Rayner of Pulaski; one sister: Alice “I.D.” Watkins ; two brothers: Roger Dale Kyzar and Billy Ray Kyzar; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steven Rayner, Brian Blackwell, Braxton McCann, William Holland, Chris Kyzar, and Greg Barnes.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dustin Fisher and SPC Shawn Fisher.
