Beverley Jean Gianini Walker "Nonna"
Beverley was born on January 30th 1953 in Cleveland, MS. A loving wife to James T. Walker (Jimmy) and mother to three sons, Christopher Shane Gianini, Jason Lee Bailey, and Joseph Brock Bailey. Grandmother /"Nonna" to Caius Hawkins Bailey. Beverley passed peacefully at her home in Pearl, MS on April 11th 2025.
Beverley hailed proudly from her Italian/southern roots in the Mississippi Delta which amplified her never changing strength that carried her to touch so many lives in her lifetime. A devout Catholic and true caregiver at heart, she chose to become a nurse and worked diligently with every soul she encountered before retiring and following her dream of opening a restaurant with her sons Jason Bailey and Joseph "Brock" Bailey. She named her Café "Nonna's," the name bestowed upon her by her only grandson, Caius Bailey. Her customers at "Nonna's Café" were also her friends and she referred to each of them as part of her family. The joy from sharing laughs, making desserts, offering seconds, and caring for all those she encountered was immeasurable to her and so was her gratitude.
Beverley loved animals. Her pets were like her children. She was a devoted Garfield collector, cruise ship afficionado and self proclaimed professional food taster. She enjoyed more than anything, a cup of coffee and spending time with her friends and family. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband James T. Walker (Jimmy), her sons Jason Lee Bailey and Joseph Brock Bailey, her grandson Caius Hawkins Bailey, her sister Deborah Jennings, her aunt Ann Mellot, and brother Gus Gianini Jr.
She is preceded in death by her son Christopher Shane Gianini, her mother Joyce Gianini, and father Gus Gianini.
Honorary pallbearers: Bob Walker, Mike Flannagan, Chuck Partridge, Brad Carter, Will Weathersby, Bryan Shaw.
