Billie Joyce Clark Grimes, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 23, 2018.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 26 between 12:00 and 2:00 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home, 1360 W. Government St. Brandon, MS. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at the funeral home, with internment at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Mrs. Grimes is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Oliver Clark Sr., brothers: Woody Clark, Oliver Clark Jr., Freelann Clark; sisters: Juanita Howell, Inez Blakeney, and Doris Shirley.

She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, James T. ‘Sleepy’ Grimes, son, Jimmy (Wanda), granddaughter, Michelle Bell, great-grandson, Jon Michael Arnold, great-granddaughter, Makayla Hankins and several loving nieces and nephews.

Billie, a native of Petal Ms., spent much of her adult life the Jackson, Ms. area.  Billie retired from BellSouth in 1985 with 22 years of service.  She was a longtime member of Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson, Ms., before moving to Brandon, Ms. and became a member of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon.  Billie was loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was a fabulous cook and with her husband, loved to travel all over the globe.

The family would like to especially thank her caregiver, Trish Jones for her special, loving care.
