Mrs. Billie Faye Baker Risher (nee Page) age 73 and a resident of Morton, MS died on Tuesday November 17, 2020 after a battling a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease at her home surrounded by her family.
Billie was born on March 23, 1947 to Ellen Mae Page in Mobile, AL. Billie was an only child, she attended Morton High School and graduated in 1965. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Morton, where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.
In 1968, Billie Faye met Billy Don Baker of Brandon MS. Billie Faye and Bill married in 1968 and welcome their son Richard in 1970 and their daughter Rebecca in 1975. She was a homemaker before going to work with her husband to run the Kubota tractor dealership, E-Z Wheels Inc. in Pelahatchie, MS together for more than 20 years.
Preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Don Baker in 2003.
Billie Faye met Henry Risher of Pulaski in 2005, they were married in 2007. In 2015 the couple retired together.
Survived by her husband, Henry; son, Ricky; daughter, Becky; stepdaughter, Amanda; stepson, JJ (Angela); grandchildren, Madison (Tommy) Bentley and Annie; great-granddaughter Joyanna and her beloved dog Rocky.
Due to the Covid virus a graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday November 18, 2020 at Morton City Cemetery in Morton, MS. Bro. Earl Clark will officiate.
The family would like to express their gratitude to friends and the staff of Southern Care Hospice of Newton, who have been invaluable during this time.
