Mr. Billy Anderson Archie was born on September 25, 1953, in Frankfurt, Germany to his parents, the late Mac Burnie and Mary Lee Cooksey Archie. He passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at the University of Alabama Medical Center at Birmingham at the age of 65.

Billy proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1971-1975 and was a retired truck driver. Woodworking and camping were two of his favorite past times. He was a Christian by faith and a member of Lawrence Baptist Church. Billy will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of eighteen years: Mrs. Christie Archie of Lake; three children: Billy McLloyd Archie of San Antonio, TX; Sarah Archie of Vicksburg; and Anna Archie of Picayune; one sister: Terrie Jacobs of Lake; and one brother: Timmy Archie, also of Lake; six grandchildren; one niece and one nephew also survive.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and one brother: William Arvis Gibbs.
