Billy Bartlett

Bill Bartlett, 78, died June 7 at his home in Brandon, MS. A memorial service will be held at Patrick Farms Golf Club on Thursday, June 14 at 5pm.

Mr. Bartlett was born in Winona, MS on October 23, 1939. Bill joined the Navy following high school graduation and became a member of the U.S. Naval Golf Team. Bill graduated from Mississippi State University as an Accounting major and soon thereafter pursued a career with the Professional Golf Association serving as both a club and teaching professional at a variety of golf clubs, country clubs, and resorts. His awards and recognitions for achievement in the game span far and wide including but not limited to 14 hole-in-ones and 15 club championships. Bill and his wife Judy were accomplished ballroom dancers and enjoyed many dance performances together as joint owners of an Arthur Murray Dance Studio for many years.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Deborah Elaine Lord and grandchildren, Mary Cathryn Lord, Emily Elaine Lord, Zachary Allan Bartlett and Alex Blake Bartlett.
