Billy G. Chaney, 88, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, January 29, 2016 at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 3:30 pm from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
Bill was born in Decatur, MS on April 14, 1927. He was a longtime resident of Pearl and was a Charter member and Deacon at McLaurin Heights Baptist Church. He served in three different military branches and retired from the Air Force after 38 years of military service.
Bill loved his Lord, his wife, Louise, of 66 years, his daughters, Vickie and Danny Waggoner of Pearl and Nahna and Toby Stovall of Brandon; three grandchildren, Tiffany and Dr. Matt McClain of Hattiesburg, MS, Danna Stovall and Hannah Stovall; and two great grandchildren, Dylan and Harrison McClain; and his sister, Ina Laird of Little Rock, MS.
