Billy Joe Grantham

Bill Grantham, 84, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024  in Jackson. Visitation is 10 am Friday, May 31, 2024 at Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl with services following at 11 am. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl with Dr. Keith Grubbs officiating,

Mr. Grantham was born in Simpson County and lived in Rankin County his adult life. He was a charter member of Sunshine Baptist Church which is now Park Place Baptist Church and a dedicated member of the Nathan Whitehead Sunday School Class for many years. 

Bill began his career at Dumas Miller Chevrolet and retired from Haygood. He loved camping, skiing, hunting, fishing and playing dominos with his friends. 

Survivors include grandchildren, Dodge Grantham and Phoebe Grantham of Idaho; brother, Lewis Grantham (Rosemary); sister, Charlotte Mace (David) and niece, Angela Galleno (Michael). Mr. Grantham was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Joe Grantham; wife, Shirley and his son, Michael. 

The Nathan Whitehead Sunday School Class and Keith Searcy will serve as pallbearers.
