Billy Styron, Sr.

Billy Edward Styron, Sr., age 86, a resident of Braxton, MS passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at Brandon Court in Brandon, MS. A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Ross Cemetery in Braxton, MS.

Mr. Styron was born in Smith County on October 18, 1934 to Richard Styron and Hilda Cooper Styron. He was married to Alene Dukes Styron. He worked in the Automotive Parts Industry for many years and after he semi-retired he opened Styron Restaurant in Brandon, MS. He enjoyed being with his family and friends and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Styron was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Alene Dukes Styron, parents, Richard Styron and Hilda Cooper Styron and grandson, Eric Styron.

Mr. Styron is survived by his children, Billy (Lynda) Styron, Jr., Gail (Andy) Patrick, Joe (Janet) Styron and George (Janet) Styron; brother, Bobby Styron; sisters, Jerrie (Robert) Bouse and Myra Stansill; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; many nieces nephews and a host of friends.
