Funeral services for Mr. Billy Vann Wall will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from the Ott & Lee Chapel with the Rev. Larry Duncan and Rev. Kenneth Walters officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery at Piketon under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest.
Music will be provided by Bro. Randall & Mrs. Brenda Creel.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Monday, October 10, 2016 at the funeral home and Tuesday one hour prior to the funeral service.
Billy Vann Wall was born December 10, 1947 at Newton, MS to his parents: Earl Z. and Floy Gunn Wall. He passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson at the age of 68.
He was a longtime resident of Scott County, and a retired sales clerk from Fountain Ace Hardware in Forest. He was a member of the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church and also served in the MS Army National Guard.
A favorite past time was fishing. He also enjoyed watching golf and football.
He was preceded in death by his father: Earl Z. Wall and his brother: David Earl Wall.
Survivors include his wife: Catherine Wall of Forest; one son: Joseph Wall of Forest; his mother: Floy Gunn Wall of Forest; one uncle: Marshall Gunn of Forest; 12 nieces and nine nephews; and numerous cousins.
The family request that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
Pallbearers will be Ben Wall, Bruce Gunn, Mac Edwards, Tommy Anthony, Timmy McDill, and Jeff Fountain.
