Billy Frank Williams

  Billy Frank “Bill” Williams, age 87, and a resident of Forest died Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at the Anderson Hospital in Meridian following a brief illness.  

  Funeral services will be conducted at 12pm Friday, June 30, 2023, from the chapel of the OTT & LEE Funeral Home in Forest with Pastor E. J. Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow the funeral services at Harmony M.B. Cemetery in Lena.     Visitation will be held from 5pm till 7pm Thursday, June 29, 2023, at the funeral home. The family will gather on Friday at 11am at the funeral home in preparation for the funeral service.  

  Bill was born on July 6, 1936, in Leake County to his parents Dock Williams and Ethel Daisy Ealy Williams.  He married Maude White Williams and from their union in marriage, they had three children, raising them in a godly home and in church. He was a truck driver for many years with the B.C. Rogers Poultry Company in Morton.  Later he was self-employed as a truck driver.  He was a longtime member of the Sylvester United Methodist Church.  He loved the outdoors, spending time with his family and friends.  Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  

  Preceded in death by his parents, Dock Williams Ethel Daisy Ealy Williams, his wife, Maude Williams, siblings; Toby Ealy, Louise Chambers, Hester White, Dock Williams, Jr., Alice Ruth Jackson, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

  He is survived by his three children; Jerry Frank Williams (Kaye Francis) of Forest, Wayne Howard Williams also of Forest, and Tammy Terrell Williams-Loggins (Terry) of Memphis, TN.  He also leaves a legacy of five grandchildren: Jeffery D. Williams, LaKrysaline V. Williams, Wayne H. Williams, II, Jeremy L. Williams, Kelsey A. Price, and two great-grandchildren; Jadarius Williams, and Jakalyn Williams.  

  Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons and close friends.
