Funeral services for Bobbie Faye Herrington will be conducted at 7pm Thursday, August 10, 2017 from the chapel of the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest. Rev. J. Clark will officiate. Visitation will also be held from 5pm Thursday til the service time .
Mrs. Herrington was born on Wednesday June 28, 1939 in Neshoba County to her parents, Jimmie Herrington and Millie Goss Herrington. She later moved to Rankin County. She was a Baptist and had attended Pearson Baptist Church. She worked in the restaurant industry until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons Wayne Barrett and Mike Barrett, a grandson Billy Joe Barrett; 1 brother, Dr. Raymond Herrington; sisters, Polly Barrett, Earline Hurtt and Aldia Bustin.
Survivors include a sister, Frances Strickland and a brother James Herrington both of Union. She also leaves behind 2 grandchildren, Lachae Jones (Brandon), B.J. Barrett , 2 great-grandchildren, Devin Jones and Brylee Jones all of Sebastopol.
