Bobbie Phillips

Mrs. Bobbie Nell Phillips, age 82, a resident of Newton died Tuesday March 11, 2014 at Rush Hospital in Meridian following an extended illness.
Funeral services were conducted at 2pm Wednesday March 12, 2014 from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest with interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Lawrence. Rev. Ben Laird officiated.
Mrs. Phillips was born in Conehatta on November 9, 1931 to her parents Otis Nester and Floy McGee Nester. She had lived in Newton County most all of her life where she was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. Prior to her retirement she worked for Forest Packing Company.She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include 6 children; Linda Clark Boles of Lake, Otis Clark (Donna) of Lake, Frances Parker Haralson (Eldon) of Lawrence, Kenneth “Bussie Bill” (Teresa) Clark of Newton, Timothy Wayne Clark of Newton and Bobby Ray Clark (Tawana) of Newton. Other survivors include 2 brothers; Daniel Nester and Edward Nester. She also leaves behind a legacy of 16 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jessie Parker, Bo Boles, Brad Parker, Chris Boles, Bruce Clark, Mike Boles, Brent Clark, Aaron McCann.Funeral service provided by Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest.Tel. (601) 469-3412.
