Bobbie Jean Madison Shedd, 78, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 at the Forest Hill Nursing Home in Jackson. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Interment will be held in the Kalem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Morton.
Bobbie was born and raised in Morton, MS where she graduated from Morton High School. She moved to Brandon where she has always worked in retail. She worked at the Walmart Supercenter in Pearl in the fabric department for the last 15 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She is survived by her son, Willie Welch and wife Cindy of Brandon; stepsons, Gary Shedd and wife Hazel of Brandon, and Carl Shedd and wife Dean of Washington, DC; brother, Carl Madison and wife Betty of Fort Myers, FL; niece, Mary Jean “Cookie” Echols and husband Bill of Richland; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
