Bobby E. McGee, 73, passed away Sat. March 23, 2013 at his home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held Mon. March 25, 2013 from 5pm.-8pm. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 1pm. Tues. March 26, 2013 at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lena, MS.
Mr. McGee was born in Biloxi, MS. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and was also a member of Robinhood Baptist Church. Mr. McGee always enjoyed being outside enjoying the beauty of Gods handiwork. He was a loving husband and father to his children.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis McGee; two daughters, Tracie Turner (Jeff) and Rita Smith (Danny); two sons, Rodney McGee (Christy) and Todd McGee all of Brandon; three sisters, Bonnie Nell Gay of Lake, Linda Carol Phillips of Pearl and Mary Lou Crimm of Forest; one brother, Tony McGee of Central, S.C.; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Minnie Bell McGee; one brother, Ottis Don McGee and one infant sister, Peggy Joyce McGee.
