Bobby Earl Stewart, Sr., 63, a resident of Pelahatchie died Friday, December, 28, 2012 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral services were held 10 am Monday, December 31, 2012 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in the Good Hope Cemetery in Leake Co. Visitation was held 4-9 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Rev. Paul Smith officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Stewart was a native of Hinds Co. He was the son of Willie James Stewart and Douglas Viola Moss Stewart. He was married to Juanita Ann Swortzfigure Stewart. Mr. Stewart enjoyed fishing, hunting and working in his garden. He loved his family and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his parents, Willie James Stewart and Douglas Viola Moss Stewart.
Mr. Stewart is survived by his wife, Juanita Ann Swortzfigure Stewart; children, Bubba (Christi) Stewart of Morton, Shelley “Sister” (John) Gardner of Sebastopol, Dotty (Joey) Wisnoski of Pelahatchie, Michael Stewart of Pelahatchie and step daughter, Casandra (Shelby) McManus of Pelahatchie; sisters, Ruby Sessums of Carthage, Mary Helen Patterson of Walnut Grove, Lanette Presley of Morton; brothers, Buddy (Sue) Stewart of Carthage and Billy Lee (Sarah) Stewart of Pelahatchie; 5 grandchildren, Ty Stewart, Alex Grace Stewart, D.J. Monk, Mason Sugg and Rylan Sugg; 2 step grandchildren, Austyn Sikes and Joshua Sikes.
Serving as pallbearers were Todd Rhinewalt, Jerry Parker, Leo Stevens, Charles Sessums, Shelby McManus and Ricky Kyzar.
