Bobby Wilkerson

Bobby B. Wilkerson, age 87, of High Hill community, passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2022. He was born on March 26, 1935, to Guy and Ethel Crout Wilkerson. He graduated from Forest High School and then went on to serve honorably in the United States Army in the Korean Conflict. He retired from Vickers Aerospace and Marine Defense after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Pearl Masonic Lodge and was a lifelong member of High Hill Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Martha Sharp Wilkerson, children Pam Carson (Chris), Cindy Kinkead (Michael), Bob Wilkerson (Shawn), and Doug Wilkerson (Pam); grandchildren, Nick Dudley (Krista), Jordan Wilkerson, Bobby Wilkerson (Sarah), Hunter Wilkerson (Grace), Kord Wilkerson, Cole Carson (Keelyn), Caroline Wilkerson, Parker Wilkerson, and Madelyn Wilkerson; great grandchildren, Ann Ross Wilkerson and Meg Wilkerson, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded by an infant son, Leslie Guy Wilkerson; his parents, Guy and Ethel Wilkerson; siblings, John Shep Wilkerson, Glenn Wilkerson, Ethelyne Smith, and Norman Wilkerson.

Visitation will be held at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest on Friday, May 6, 2022, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm; Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 12:30 pm to 1:50pm, with the Funeral Service following at 2:00pm there in Ott and Lee Chapel. Interment will be at High Hill Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the High Hill Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 7572 Hwy 501 South, Forest, MS 39074-9447.

Funeral Services are entrusted to Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest, MS.
