Bobby Worley Jr.

Bobby Worley Jr., 86, passed away on Fri. May 19, 2023 at the Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. May 20, 2023 from 6pm-8pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and on Sun. May 21, 2023 from 2pm-3pm at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Pisgah, MS. Funeral Services are 3pm on Sun. May 21, 2023 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Worley was born on June 15, 1936 in Canton, MS to the late Van Robinson Worley Sr. and Gladys Cochran Worley. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Mr. Worley retired after 52 ½ years as a school teacher at Brandon High School in Brandon, MS and East Rankin Academy in Pelahatchie, MS. He was a graduate of Mississippi State and was an avid Bulldog Fan.

He is survived by his sister, Joy McCrary; niece, Carla Evans (Charlie); great nephew, Alex Evans (Courtney); two great nieces, Emily Evans, Lindsey Evans and one great-great nephew, Carson Evans.
