Bobby "Buddy" Price

Mr. Bobby "Buddy" Price, age 85 and a resident of Morton passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Two Mile Baptist Church with Bro. Joe Crane, Bro. Greg Renfrow, and Bro. T.J. Porter officiating. Interment will follow in Contrell Cemetery with military honors.

Visitation will be Monday, January 6, 2020 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm and Tuesday from 12:00 pm - 1:45 pm prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Price was a longtime resident of this area and a retired surveyor with 42 years of service with the state of Mississippi, with a combined total service of over 60 years. He was a member of Two Mile Baptist Church and served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed cattle farming and loved his family very much.

He is preceded in death by two daughters: Baby Girl and Dena J. Price; his parents: Robert P. and Ruth Wallace Price; one brother: Hiram Price and two sisters: Evelyn Askin and Jean Price.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years: Mrs. Jewel Price; one son: Scotty (Sandy) Price; three grandchildren: Kimberly Price Marguand, Robert Price, and Elizabeth Passons; one great-grandchild: Riley A. Price and a host of other family and friends.

Arrangements were entrusted to Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
