Bob R. Taylor, 80, a resident of Brandon, MS died November 22, 2015 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with the interment in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS. Rev. Ty Pigott will officiate the services. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Mr. Taylor was a native of Simpson County. He was born on September 7, 1935. He was married to Jean Taylor. He was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Jackson, MS. He worked many years for the State of Mississippi before retiring. Mr. Taylor proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and in the National Guard. He loved his family and will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Jean Taylor; brother, Monty Karon) Bryant; nephews, Cooper and Christopher; niece, Amanda and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Woodland Hills Baptist Church; Baptist Children’s Village or The American Cancer Society.
