Bonnie Harrison

Jean Harrison was born in Swartz, Louisiana (Ouchita Parish) on March 12, 1932 to Charlie Mack Fuller and Katie Adell Spruell Fuller. She went home to be with the Lord on November 10, 2021. She grew up in Shreveport, LA where she attended Byrd High School. Jean married Carl R. Harrison, Sr. on March 20, 1948. They were married 69 wonderful years before his passing in 2017. Jean worked for Southern Bell, South Central Bell, and Bell South, she retired after 38 years of service. She loved the Lord and served at many churches throughout her life. For the past 30 years she had been a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Jean taught Sunday School, served as church secretary and a member of the choir through her years of service to the Lord. She enjoyed traveling, cross stitch, needlepoint, crochet and knitting. Jean loved her four great grandsons and watching them grow, laugh, and play. In her final years, she especially enjoyed reading.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl Harrison, Sr, her parents, Charlie Mack and Katie Fuller, her brother, Willie Mack Fuller. She is survived by her son, Carl (Dunie) Harrison, Jr. (Tanya), granddaughter, Amber Harrison Sandifer (Bubba), grandson, Justin Harrison (Ashlee), four great grandsons, Gage Sandifer, Briar Harrison, Coby Sandifer and Gunner Harrison.

Services will be at Antioch Baptist Church, Saturday November 13, 2021, with visitation at 10 a.m. and the funeral service at 11 a.m. Bro. Matt Armstrong will officiate the services with music by Donnie and Cynthia Stuart. Graveside service will be immediately after the funeral service at the Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers will be deacons of her church, Mark Russell, Terrell Hughes, Chris Jones, Don Carter, Doug Carter, and Jonathan Elmore.
