Bonnie Massey McMillan, of Crystal Springs, Mississippi, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the age of 75.

Mrs. McMillan was born April 1, 1949, in Canton, Mississippi, to George Alton Massey and Mary Eugenia Baker Massey. She attended Hinds Community College, where she was a High Stepper and earned an associate’s degree, further continuing her education at MSU. She was a hard worker, maintaining employment with Nicholas Acoustics for over forty years as a bookkeeper. She and her husband were very successful in the Fox Hound and Field Trial world. You could often find them at the kennels early in the morning or late in the evening preparing the hounds and keeping them in top shape for the next outing. Their hard work paid off frequently as their names were called in the top 10 at the end of the events. Mrs. McMillan had the heart of a saint and will be remembered for her generosity and her giving spirit.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Eugenia Massey; husband, Ronnie McMillan; and sister, Rebecca Adams.

Survivors include her son, Paul Brown (Kelley); stepdaughter, Jennifer Franks (Cody); grandchildren, Conor Brown and Casen Brown; step grandchildren, Corey and wife Brandi, Kenny Earl and wife Tarryn, Austin and wife Christina, Tanner and wife Taylor, and Amanda; eight great grandchildren; brother, John Massey (Jean); and sister-in-law, Barbara Hartzog
