Bonnie P. Roberts

Mrs. Bonnie Roberts, age 92, a resident of Morton, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2024, at Mississippi Care Center of Morton. Born on June 12, 1932, to Carl and Mamie Jacobs Sumrall. Mrs. Bonnie was a Christian, and a former member of Line Prairie Presbyterian Church, she was an avid reader of her Bible and enjoyed working puzzles.

Preceded in death by her husband, Thurman “Buster” Roberts, parents, Carl and Mamie Sumrall; son, Don Roberts Sr.; grandson, Don Roberts Jr. daughter-in-law, Elaine Roberts; granddaughter-in-law, Janet Lott Roberts; brothers, C.L. Sumrall, Lamar Sumrall, and Eugene Sumrall

Survivors are her son, David (Jean) Roberts; three sisters, Rosie Murray, Nan Fullilove, Nancy Hall (John); sister-in-law, Ruby Roberts; five grandchildren: Paul Roberts (Tara), Teresa McDaniel (Kevin), Cindy Mitchell (Casey), Alison Roberts, and Candace Vanderford; three great grandsons, six great granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.

 Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Friday, January 24, 2025, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, in Morton, again on Saturday from 10:00am to 10:50 am with the Funeral Service following at 11:00am in our Chapel, Bro. Paul Smith officiating the service. Burial will be at Morton Memorial Gardens.
