William Bradford “Brad” Scoggins, 17, went to be with Jesus Monday, May 21, 2012. Visitation is today at 1 pm at Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon with Services to follow at 2 pm . Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon is in charge of arrangements.
Brad was born on June 24, 1994 in Flowood, MS to Spencer and Kristin Lee Peterson Scoggins.
He had just completed the 11th grade at East Rankin Academy. He loved the outdoors; hunting and fishing and anything outside.
Brad was loved by his family and many friends and he loved his family so much, especially his brother and sister. He loved music and playing his guitar. He was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church where he was active in Sunday School and youth activities. He was very kind hearted and everyone will always remember his smile.
Survivors include his parents; his brother, Reed Scoggins and sister, Julianne Scoggins both of Brandon, MS; his maternal grandparents, Harry and Karen Peterson of Brandon, MS and paternal grandparents, William H. and Glenda Scoggins of Florence, MS; aunts and uncles, Scott and Shannon Albritton of Flowood, MS, Daniel and Katie Elliott of Brandon, MS, Andy & Jennipher Scoggins of Pensacola, FL, and Kirk and Marcy Scoggins of Madison, MS; and cousins, Carter and Addie Elliott of Brandon, MS, Seth, Noah and Cain Scoggins of Pensacola, FL, and Kathryn and Will Scoggins of Madison, MS.
