OTT AND LEE IN BRANDON IS HANDLING ARRANGEMENTS.
Brandon Douglas Crockett, 16, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010. Visitation will be held at Pinelake Church from 1:30-3:15 on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Services are scheduled for 3:30 pm Tuesday at the church with burial to follow at New Brandon Cemetery at 1106 Star Road.
Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon is handling arrangements.
Brandon attended Northwest Rankin High School where he was a member of the baseball, football and track teams and was very active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He accepted Christ as his savior at a young age and was a member of Pinelake Church. Brandon was active in Chi Alpha and served as a mentor to junior high boys and had the privilege of leading many young people to Christ during his short stay on this earth. Brandon had a very loving heart and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Brandon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dr. Neil Mitchell of Tylertown.
Survivors include his parents, Craig and Patience Crockett; sister, Rachel Crockett; grandparents, Dr. James and Dorothy Crockett of Madison and Shelia Mitchell of Tylertown; great-grandmother, Hester Bourg of Tylertown; along with a number of uncles, aunts and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Palmer Home for Children, Box 746, Columbus, MS 39703.
