Brandon Lee Wilson, 32, passed away after a short illness on Sunday, November 19, 2017 surrounded by his family at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.
The funeral service will be held 2 pm Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Gulde Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:30 am until 1:45 pm at the funeral home.
Born in Lafayette, LA, Brandon spent most of his young life between Idaho and Mississippi. He graduated from Brandon High School in Brandon, MS and then attended Hinds Community College. He was employed by Hobby Town USA.
His love for golf, fishing for Red Fish in Louisiana, boating on the Rez, and LSU football was only overshadowed by his love for his family, especially his son, Hunter. His quick smile, kind spirit, sense of humor, and warm hugs were special gifts that he shared with all that he met.
Brandon is survived by his son, Hunter Lee Wilson; mother Donna Pitre Hess (Fred); father Chad Wilson (Jackie); maternal grandparents Jean and Marilyn Pitre; brother, Austin Wilson (Katelyn), numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sylvia Davis Wilson and John H. Wilson; uncle Cary Pitre, USMC.
