Brenda White

It is with great sadness that the family of Brenda Sellers White announces her passing on November 8, 2018, at the age of 70 years. Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years, Kenneth and their children, Jay (Katie) and Robin (Shane).  Brenda will also be fondly remembered by her 5 grandchildren, Drew, Jordan, Reagan, Kaitlyn, and Payton and by her sister, Pam Shumate, and her brother-in-law Mickey.

A Funeral Service in memory of Brenda will be held on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home, 1360 W Government Street, Brandon, with Rev. Ted Giordano officiating. A graveside service will follow at Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Brenda grew up in Brandon, Mississippi. She spent the rest of her life in Pelahatchie after marrying Kenneth White on April 4, 1969. Brenda held many jobs at Pelahatchie Elementary and High Schools, but her favorite job was as the school librarian. She also led the choir at Pelahatchie Methodist Church for 30 years.
