Brenda Jean Adcox, age 53, a resident of Morton passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Select Belhaven in Jackson.  Her visitation was held 5-9pm Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Holmes Assembly of God Church.  Services were held 2pm Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Holmes Assembly of God Church with burial in Eureka Baptist Cemetery.  Bro. Derrick Robertson and Bro. Geary Walton officiated the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Brenda was born in Hinds County on December 5, 1965.  She loved watching football and cheering for the Saints, Cowboys and Greenbay.  Brenda loved going shopping, especially at Walmart.  She enjoyed going to gospel singings and loved the Lord.  Her grandbabies were the apple of her eye.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lois Stewart.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley Adcox; father, Bro. Roy Stewart; children, Jennifer Thweatt (Justin) of Morton, Justin Adcox of Pearl, Kevin Adcox of Pearl, Christopher Adcox (Kenzey) of Pearl and Dewayne Adcox of Morton; brothers, Danny Roy Stewart (Mandy) of Morton and Dalton Stewart (Candace) of Morton; grandchildren, Aaron Renfroe, Addison Renfroe and Christopher Topher Adcox Jr.; and a host of friends.

Pallbearers were David  Varnes, Marcus Varnes, Justin Evans, Andrew Griffin, Andy Lloyd, Danny Stewart, Isaac Stewart and Bam Ban Stewart.
