C. Wayne Johnson, 68, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away December 1, 2016 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held from 12-2 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Mr. Johnson was a native of Winona, MS and was the son of Dr. Warren W. Johnson and Delora Williams Johnson. He was married to Sharron Blount Johnson. Mr. Johnson worked his career in the insurance industry working with Querbes and Nelson Insurance Company and owning and operating his own company, Wayne Johnson Continuing Education, LLC. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved his family, grandchildren and his fur babies. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Warren W. Johnson and Delora Williams Johnson.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Sharron Blount Johnson; two children, David (Shannon) Johnson and Corrine (Kyle) Lawler; three grandchildren, Kelcie Johnson, Logan Johnson and Alex Johnson; and a host of other family and friends.
