Carl Gerald Morrow, 71, a resident of Brandon, MS died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held 1 pm Friday, April 22, 2016 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with the interment to follow in the Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Sebastopol, MS. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Rev. Lew Van Allen will officiate the services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Mr. Morrow was a native of Leake County. He was the son of Marion H. Morrow and Hazel Vance Morrow. He was married to Carolyn Roland Morrow. Mr. Morrow was an iron worker for many years before becoming disabled. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved to ride his motorcycle. He enjoyed listening to Bob Seger, the Eagles and Gene Watson. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Morrow was preceded in death by his sons, Aaron Morrow, Jerry Morrow and Keith Morrow and his parents, Marion H. Morrow and Hazel Vance Morrow.
Mr. Morrow is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carolyn Roland Morrow; daughters, Sonja Morrow Morgan and Constance Morrow; sister, Linda Morrow Short; brother, Wayne Morrow; grandchildren, Anthony May, Jeremy May, Rayne Morgan, Hunter Morgan and Aaron Morrow, II; his niece, Dianna Morrow and a host of friends.
Serving as pallbearers will Anthony May, Jeremy May, Lee May, Ben Rush, Dustin Rush and Jonathan May.
