VISITATION: 12 NOON THURSDAY UNTIL SERVICE TIME
Carl Edward Hastings, 81, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at his residence in Pearl. Visitation is 12 noon Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 2 pm Thursday at the funeral home with entombment in Lakewood Memorial Park. Rev. Charles Finch will officiate.
Mr. Hastings was a native and lifelong resident of the Jackson area. He was a 1951 graduate of Central High School in Jackson and was a Korean War Navy Veteran. Mr. Hastings retired as a Credit Manager with Chevron Oil and later owned and operated a Chevron Oil Service Station in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Carolyn Hastings of Pearl; cousin, Charles Finch and wife Pat of Clinton and a host of cousins and loved ones.
