Visitation will be 5-9pm Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral services are 10am Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home. Graveside services are scheduled at 3pm Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia, MS.

Born in Marion County Mississippi, Mr. Crawley grew up in the Good Hope community and attended Improve High School. He attended Pearl River Junior College and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1959. Mr. Crawley also completed Officer Candidate School and served in the United States Navy.

Mr. Crawley cultivated a career as a Certified Public Accountant, was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church and served as President of the annual Crawley Reunions.

He enjoyed many things such as working the soundboard for church services, participating in his grandchildren’s activities and researching genealogy.

This quite man had a gentle spirit that loved the Lord. He carried himself with character and integrity, being ever so humble. He was a devoted husband, cherished father and loyal friend that could always be relied on.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Josephine Stringer Crawley and brother, Odell Crawley.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Robbins Crawley and his three children, Paige Crawley Haynes and husband, Ken of Springfield, VA, Michael Crawley and wife Jeannie of Brandon, MS and Kelly Crawley Sullivan and husband, Fred; six grandchildren, Peyton and Shelby Haynes, Dalton and Brooks Crawley, Randy and Logan Sullivan; sisters, Althea Riley of Columbia, MS and Mary Ellen Luse and husband, Jimmy of Madison, MS and many beloved nieces and nephews.
