Carol Jean Greer, 79, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Merit Health Rankin. Visitation will be 5-7pm Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Services will be 2pm Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with visitation starting at 12 Noon Monday. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS. 

Carol was born on April 28, 1944, to James Carson Robinson and Leona Creel Robinson in Morton, MS. She was a member of Brandon Assembly of God Church. She loved gardening and working in her flower beds. She would often just sit to watch the birds, deer and butterflies. Carol loved taking care of children so much that she started a daycare for a few children out of her home. She had a special love for her beloved four-legged furry friend, Captain John. That little dog was the world to her. Carol was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her children, Angie Ainsworth (Billy Grubbs), Cheryl Smith (Larry Smith), and Steve Clark (Lynda Ann Clark); brothers, Ronnie Robinson (Tammy Robinson), and Alan Creel; her best friend, Mary Johnson; ten grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey Greer; son, Scottie Clark and son Ricky Clark.
