Carol Virginia Naile Marcum,also known by her Native American name "Little Fawn Sleeping, 77, passed away Sun. June 24, 2012 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held Tues. June 26, 2012 from 10am.-1:45pm. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm. Tues. June 25, 2012 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with burial following in the Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.
Mrs. Marcum is survived by her four children, Jean Martin Willis (Randy) of Brandon, MS, David L. Martin of Memphis, TN, Terry M. Martin (Pam) of Durant, MS and Stephen M. Martin of Paducah, KY; two sisters, Bobbie Adams (Joe) of Kenansville, FL and Melva Mitchell of Cordova, TN; five grandchildren, Kelly Simpson (John) of Star, MS, Adam P. Grimes of Florence, MS, Erin Grimes of Flowood, MS, Rachel Martin of Kosciusko, MS and Blake Martin of Durant, MS; twelve great-grandchildren, Bailey Pitts, Bailey Simpson, Jackson Simpson, Deuce Simpson, Jude Simpson, Conner Grimes, Aiden Grimes, Molly Grimes, Bentley Grimes,Uri Squires, Kolby Martin and Chloe Martin.
