Carol Ann Burgess Sanford, born March 5, 1947, went to be with the Lord on Wed. March 16, 2016 after a long illness with MS. She left peacefully with the people she loved the most by her side, her husband of 41 years and her son.
Carol was a loving wife and mother. She spent almost 40 years of her life taking care of other people as an RN. Even though her body gave out on her, she still had a sweet spirit and could always give you a smile. She was very appreciative of the wonderful care her husband and son gave her. We know that she was ready to be with Jesus and is free to dance with the angels.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie Sanford; son, Ryan Sanford; mother, Eleanor H. Burgess; brothers, Sheldon Burgess (Pam), Gary Burgess and a host of nieces and nephews. Carol is preceded in death by her father, Dock Burgess.
