VISITATION: 4-8 PM MONDAY AT OTT AND LEE FUNERAL HOME IN BRANDON AND 3 PM WEDNESDAY AT THE CHURCH.

Carolyn Mitchell Johnson, 63, passed away on February 14, 2014, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Pearl United Methodist Church in Pearl, MS with visitation starting at 3 p.m.
Carolyn was born in Oak Ridge, TN December 14, 1950. She was a U S Army Veteran of the Vietnam era. Carolyn worked in Medical Records and as service engineer in the Army. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Beecher Briggs and Edna Christine Higgins Briggs.
Survivors include her husband, Steven A. Johnson of Pearl; sons, Jeremy Mitchell and Peter Johnson; sister, Christine Stinson (John) of Crossville, TN; brother, Robert David Briggs (Diane) of Hixon, TN; niece, Laura Briggs-Hibbs (Mark) and great niece Gracie Hibbs of Chattanooga, TN.
