Mrs. Carolyn McGee, age 75, a resident of Lena passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 in Brandon. Visitation will be held 4pm-8pm Monday, July 16, 2018 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Services will be held 11am Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Morton Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jay Pace, Bro. Wayne Michael Lee, Rev. Shane McGee and Bro. Keith McGee will officiate the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & LeeFuneral Home in Morton.
Carolyn was born in Duck Hill, MS on June 20, 1943. She loved shopping at Walmart and looking for deer and squirrels from her bedroom window. Carolyn enjoyed cooking for her whole family and always supported and loved her family. She taught Sunday School and always supported her husband, Rev. Wayne McGee when he preached at different churches. Family was everything to her and her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the apple of her eye. Her beautiful smile and contagious laugh will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Curtis Wayne McGee; parents, Elmer Graham and Virgie Thompson Graham; brother, Thomas Graham; sister, Dorothy Pierce; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Rev. William Curtis and Bessie McGee; sister-in-law, Iwona McGee; brother-in-law, Wendell McGee; son-in-law, Franklin Lee and son-in-law, Michael Reeder.
She is survived by her 4 children, Teresa Lee of Lena, Keith McGee (Heather) of Brandon, Shane McGee (Rachel) of Philadelphia and Jay Pace (Heather) of Lena; 8 grandchildren, Wayne (Torie) Lee, Tyler McGee, Joshua McGee, Madison McGee, Will McGee, Riley McGee, Angel Pace and Lisa Taylor; 2 great grandchildren, Zak Lee and Colton Lee; 3 sister-in-laws, Billie Graham, Barbara McGee and Carol Cooper King.
Pallbearers will be Dusty Graham, Stephen Herren, Ronnie Giles, Raymond Triplett, Randy Thomas, Mike Bell, Michael O’Bannon and Jeffery Hutchinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler McGee, Joshua McGee, Will McGee, Zak Lee, Cole Graham and Colton Lee.
Memorials may be made in her honor to the Gideons International.
