Carroll Neely May, 93, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00am Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, October 5, 2012 and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will follow the service in Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon.
Carroll was born on July 6, 1919 to the late Neely and Edna Cook May. He was a member of Pearson Baptist Church in Pearl. He served in the U.S. Army as a medic during World War II. He was a dental technician for Blackburn Dental Laboratory. He loved his family and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Carroll; brothers, Ruell May and Jim May; and sisters, Ann Varnado and Ximena Gates.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret Torrence May; daughter, Lana Bowen and her husband David; his brother, Jack May; numerous nieces and nephews, and his four-legged pride and joy, Tinkerbell.
