Cassandra Dawn Orr, 28, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon. Visitation is 5pm until 9 pm Friday, August 5, 2011 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Funeral services are 12 Noon Saturday, in the chapel of the funeral home with a 3 pm graveside service in Gum Log Cemetery in Bailey, MS.
Dawn loved studying the Bible and arts and crafts. She enjoyed meeting new people and she always had a smile on her face. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Earl Pratt, grandparents, Joseph and Carolyn Johnson and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and Edna Orr, Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Jessie Orr of Pearl; mother and step father, Linda (Mike) Elrod of Canton, MS; father, Edwin Steen Johnson of Durant, MS; grandmother, Verna Pratt of Byram; half-sister, Candy Tate of Shannon, MS; step- brother, Joseph Steen Johnson, Jr. of FL; she is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, especially Taylor and Bobby Orr of Biloxi, MS; cousins, especially Brayden and Maddison Phillips and many friends.
