Cassie Mae Sessions Augustine Mrs. Augustine died March 14, 2019 at age 95 following a short illness. She was born, raised and lived most of her life in Morton. Cassie was the daughter of Maud and Otto Sessions and sister to AL, CO and Frances Sessions. Cassie is survived by her daughter, Linda Koeln and her husband Greg and two grandchildren, Justin and Sally. Mrs. Augustine was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morton but had spent the last few years living in Maryland with her daughter and family. Cassie lived all but a few years of her long life on Rocky Creek Rd. and later on Highway 481 in Morton. She was a loving and caring daughter and sister. She cared for her mother, brother and sister prior to their deaths. She was a loving and fun mother to her only child, Linda. Her grandchildren relished her antics and as children loved a trip to Granny’s. Her giving spirit touched those who knew her well and those who were only acquaintances. Cassie will be laid to rest on Wednesday, March 20, following a graveside service at 1:00 at the Morton City Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to say their goodbyes.
