Catherine Taylor Roberts, 83, born on August 1, 1928, passed away on November 26, 2011 at Mississippi Baptist Hospital in Jackson.  Visitation will be Sunday, November 27, 2011 4pm until 6 pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland, and also starting at 9:30 am Monday, November 28 until the 11:00am Service at Briar Hill Baptist Church.
She was a lifelong resident of the Monterey Community in Rankin County and longstanding/dedicated Member of Briar Hill Baptist Church where she participated in the Homemakers Sunday School Class and Magic Club.
She cherished 50 wonderful years of customer service in the financial industry with  Unifirst Savings and Loan and  Trustmark Bank.   She very much enjoyed family and friend gatherings, travel, church activities, house decorating, photography, dominoes and baking sweets.  She showed compassion and always shared a smile with everyone throughout her blessed life.
Preceded in death by husbands,John Roberts, Herman Spencer; Parents Prentiss and Olive Taylor; brothers, Harvey P Taylor, Jr. and Cullen Conerly Taylor; Nephew Billy F Brown.
Aunt Cat is survived by her 5 nieces and their families  - Denise Taylor, Dianna(Taylor) and Paul Howell (Kristen, Nathan, Ian), Theresa Taylor Brown (Courtney, Callie), Dawn(Taylor)and Sam Feinstein(Deanna, Kayla),Nicole(Taylor) and Greg Shows (Hunter and Emily).  Sisters-in-law,  Corrinne Taylor and Addie Taylor; Cousins,  Madison Taylor, Lawrence Taylor and Joanne Smith, as well as a blessed extension of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to Briar Hill Baptist Church.
