Cathy Lee Courtney

 Mrs. Cathy Lee Courtney, passed away on November 27, 2024, at home with her family beside her. Born on August 11, 1955, to Earnest and Jo Irby in Morton. Cathy was a Christian by faith, and a member of New Liberty Baptist Church. Cathy loved flea markets, she would buy things fix them up and resale, family was important to Cathy, and she loved to cook for them.

Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Jo Irby, sister, Reba Howell, and her husband, James Courtney Jr.: survived by two sons, James Courtney III, (Cathy), and Lee Courtney, two grandchildren, James Courtney IV, Sheran Lillee Courtney, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be at New Liberty Baptist Church in Morton, from, 11:00am to 1:50pm Monday, December 2, 2024, with the funeral service at 2:00pm in the Church. Bro. Paul Smith, Bro. Mike Everett and Bro. Bobby McKay will be officiating the service. Interment will be in the Church cemetery.
